ComfortDrain Shower Mat

A mat that holds water in a shower is working against you. The ComfortDrain is built as an open grid so water passes straight through it and heads for the drain rather than pooling on the surface, which keeps the standing area drier while you are in the shower and means the mat is not still wet hours later. Faster drying is also the practical route to less trapped moisture and less mould.

Underfoot the texture is loofah-like PVC, soft against bare feet rather than the hard ridged plastic that makes some drainage mats unpleasant to stand on for more than a minute. The material carries antibacterial properties, and the non-slip base grips the shower or tub floor so footing stays stable even when everything around it is running with water and soap.

Three colours in grey, yellow and white come in three sizes, and the extra-large format can be trimmed to fit an awkward shower footprint. It goes in the machine when it needs a proper clean and dries quickly afterwards. Bear in mind that this design drains rather than absorbs, so it belongs inside the wet zone, paired with an absorbent mat on the floor outside the shower.
