CraftLux LED Magnifying Desk Lamp

Detail work fails on two counts before it fails on skill: you cannot see the piece clearly, and you cannot hold a magnifier and work at the same time. The CraftLux removes both problems. A large lens of roughly 20 by 25 centimetres covers a full page or work piece at once, so you are not sliding a small glass around hunting for the section you were reading, and 3x optical magnification brings genuine detail out of stitching, solder joints and fine print.

The lens is mounted on a flexible gooseneck that positions exactly where you need it and then holds there under its own tension, leaving both hands free. Twelve LEDs are integrated around the lens ring, lighting the work area evenly and cancelling the hand shadow that overhead lighting always casts across close work. A built-in 1200 mAh rechargeable battery means the lamp can be used away from an outlet entirely.

A weighted desk base keeps the whole thing steady through long sessions rather than tipping when the gooseneck is extended, which makes it a practical fit for craft tables, reading corners and workbenches. It comes in white or black, and the power supply and manual are included in the box alongside the lamp itself.
